THIS. I came to the realization that the whoas and nanas were used where blink would have done a guitar riff back in the day. If you can imagine those melodies being used that way, the songs get WAY better - in my head at least.

 

I wish there were more transitions on CA to make it feel more cohesive. Let songs roll into each other rather than ring out at the end for an eternity.

Travis’ song with xxxtentacion is out. The track made it onto xxx’s new album as well.

 

I enjoy KOTW. Thought it was cool live. Plus they reference Bad Religion in it lol.

Didn’t even consider the downplayed production at this show but it’s nice to see amps on stage. Travis’ kit got a huge applause and I’d never seen them before but GC is AMAZING live.

In hindsight I’d like to compare tonight’s set list with others but they opened with cynical then anthem 2 THEN FT. Played hearts all gone and Josie and don’t leave me which was nice.

Matt sang and sounded good for the MOST part but when he fucked up it was pretty bad. Happened about three times. Mix wasn’t great unfortunately:(

 

Holy shit they actually changed up the setlist?

 

Barely lol. Opened with Cynical, changed the order of a few other things and added Josie + Hearts All Gone

 

They only played for an hour and 10 minutes. I’m always so sad when dammit starts :( even ATST cuz I know dammit is next.
