I think he's been so honest about his writer's block that I wouldn't want him wasting that energy on non-Blink stuff. I want his absolute best songs under the Blink name, not a side project or solo album.

I think at this point in time it seems like Mark needs some help with his songs whether it is with another musician or a producer. Probably why the Mark only songs on Neighborhoods were kind of eh because he seemingly didn't get that help from an outside source.
