I won't fall down that fucking reddit hole...

Get it? Because we were talking about reddit two pages ago and I'm old and late to the party per usual.

I actually love Neighborhoods, I only dislike like emmm 2-3 songs (Fighting for Gravity, Love is Dangerous and This is Home) the rest of the songs have that Untitled vibe going on, they blend nicely in my Blink182-New Age playlist on Spotify.

This is how I listen to Blink, three playlists, three eras, shuffle on!

    1) Old School Blink: Including my favs from Cherish Cat and Dude Ranch
    2) Golden Pop-Punk Days: fav. tracks from Enema and Take Off
    3) New Age: Untitled and Neighborhoods

If they stick with Feldmann (well after that Grammy nom. definitely they'll stick with him, California Part 2 incoming yayyy) I guess I should make a new playlist and name it 4) THE UNINSPIRED ERA or maybe ... THE OH-OH-OHS ERA! :crylaugh:I'm such an asshole ikr ;-p Still love them and not giving up on them, in my eyes Blink182 are passing that Weezer-Red-Raditude phase at the moment.. better "White" days will come! :peace:

Lol Neighborhoods is not better than California. After Midnight is the only song that can compete with the best four songs on Cali. This thread is just getting off the rails now lol.

Idk if I did my 5 favorites then After Midnight, Natives, Wishing Well, Even If She Falls, Up All Night >>> Bored to Death, San Diego, Home Is Such a Lonely Place, She's Out of Her Mind, Los Angeles

Songs that I think are really good and I've felt emotions towards vs songs that I'm like "yeah, this is fun"

I'm slowly coming to terms with the sad fact that I just don't love this band as much as I used to. Even albums like TOJPAJ I feel like my only enjoyment from is nostalgia. This used to be a top 10 all time band for me (and apparently my most listened to ever) but if I'm evaluating how I feel about their discography currently, it's probably not the case any more

Neither album is very good at all and everyone should probably just listen to Left and Leaving instead of any blink 182 album

I hate the production on Natives so much I don't even really like listening to it at this point. Which is unfortunate cause I love the song. Only songs I ever feel like revisiting at all are After Midnight, Kaleidoscope, Wishing Well, Even If She Falls and Hearts All Gone. I haven't listened to Up All Night once since BTD nailed the anthemic blink that that song was trying to do. Just an awkward song IMO.

I don't love any band as much as I used to as far as ones that have been around for 15-20 years lol

DED is the best thing this band has done in 13 years. All 5 of those songs are better than every song on both Neighborhoods and California, apart from maybe a couple.

Really think that EP can sit alongside the rest of their discography very easily. Really wish a couple of them would make it into the set list, could really see Dogs Eating Dogs being a ton of fun.

I tried to listen to that MAKEOUT album from pure curiousity and the very first song in very first seconds is stolen Blink's Brohemian Rhapsody riff lol, then Oh Oh all over the place and BTD,No Future,San Diego riff in a middle...good

I remember listened to the debut of Up All Night on KRock where they played it twice back to back then listening to it pretty much all day on blink's website the day after until iTunes put it up to buy. I also remember the command button site they gave you the hidden link to play Hearts All Gone and the 182 game to get a free download of After Midnight. They actually rolled those songs out in pretty cool ways.

I also remember waking up one morning and going to I think blinkdisasters and everyone was freaking out because the album leaked but I held off until the release date.

Oh man I remember listening to Up All Night on KROQ using my ex-girfriend's phone in an ice cream shop. She was the only one of us who had a smartphone and I couldn't wait to get home to listen.

I remember the day Up All Night dropped having to agonizingly wait for my fiancé to come home because, in her words, "you better not listen to new blink music without me unless you don't love me."

I waited, we listened, we loved it.

I loved the riff on Up All Night. I was so hyped when the snippet leaked. I love the back and forth verse too but the chorus is so underwhelming it kinda let the whole song down. Pretty symbolic of Neighbourhoods as a whole.
