I forgot how funny this was. What a gem.

  2. Still absolutely love the flow of No Heart to Speak of —> Ransom —> On Some Emo Shit —> Hungover You

  3. I still listen to Nine pretty regularly. I wish "Happy Days" was on California though. It's the only skippable track on Nine for me.

Has Tom always sang the Dammit chorus live?

The earliest performance I can find is 12/31/96 and Mark and Tom both sing it:

The next show I can find is 6/9/97 and Tom is singing it alone:

That 12/31/96 performance is the only (Blink) performance im aware of where mark sings it at all.

A comment on that video says they first played it in October 96 but I can’t find any videos or setlists from then.

And they didn’t play it on the 96 Warped Tour, maybe it was written that Fall?

Don't get me wrong, I do love BCR, but +44 is easily my favourite Blink-182 side-project.

I’ve actually really grown to like Happy Days. I don’t go out of my way to skip anything on Nine, but if I did, it would be IRWIHY.

Really cool record front to back, though.

Happy Days is one of the better songs on that album.

Happy Days sounds like it could have been in a lot of different Blink albums to me. Liked it even more after the video

Happy Days is the type of song we need to be honest especially with all the bullshit going on in our country.

Happy Days is still one of my least favorites. I can listen to it though. Still think it’s a weird track 2.

Nine covered a lot of ground in terms of genres.

Travis getting his thumb sucked by Kourtney was not on a list of things I hoped to see someday

Nine is still a great album and I listen to it a lot. It's sad that the band has forgotten about the existence of the album pretty quickly.

I listened to Nine in the car last weekend and really enjoyed it. I wish it received proper promotion and touring at the level California did.

I do agree, that they didn't promote it that much as California - no Jimmy Kimmel or other popular TV / hosts performances. For sure Covid was the other reason.

Yeah, COVID for sure interrupted the touring plans, but it would have been nice to see some more mainstream promotion in general. By the time touring resumes, their next release will probably be close to ready to go, and the Nine era may be largely forgotten.
