What even is this?

 

A new leaked demo from the Nine sessions

 

Leaked song demo from the NINE sessions.

 

The leak has little skips in the song, and this person removed them. I’m trying to track down that version.

 

Weird totally missed this one. Is that Feldmann singing the chorus? Doesn't even sound like Skiba

I think it was leaked maybe 2 weeks ago. It’s Skiba in the chorus for sure.

 

I got the non skipping version I think

Heard this band recommended on the latest Chris Demakes a Podcast and did a double take because I thought it was Mark Hoppus at first:

 

Still reading this, but wow!! Interesting to actually see his side of things. I'm still big on Tom and personally love A&A, but this all is just sad and a shame...i mean for all of them! I'm not really taking sides, I see it difficult for all.

btw, I guess YOU conducted this interview. I'm so jealous you got to meet these guys! :D (I'll check out the Tom article next)

probably wont have time for Scott's. I'm really only now getting into the oldest stuff with him and it's great, but I'm still partial to Travis just cuz.

 

huh! didn't realize he still considered himself a part of the band...does he still feel that way now, I wonder. Seems he's moved on.
Ugh! Oh Tom, I love you, but these things just break my heart. I mean, sure, to fans like me you will always be associated with Blink and be the Blink I know, but it's not really fair to Mark and Travis to be wishy washy like this. The whole thing makes me sad. :( But I DO like Angels and Airwaves!!

Hey @Jason Tate did the songs Tom took from Blink for A&A ever get shared?? I think "It Hurts" has a very Blink vibe, but I'm not sure what else...or if I'm even right with my guess.

 

I think the Adventure was one.

 

and The War, I assume

 

Yeah I always assumed The Adventure and The War.

 

To me 'The Machine' sounds like a very Blink song.

Yeah I remember cranking It Hurts up to 1.5X on YouTube and it absolutely sounds like something off Untitled.

 

I think there's a video (maybe from Cheetah) during the Untitled era where Tom is playing The War riff. I want to say he was on a tour bus or something.

It's still crazy to me that they were playing the Up All Night riff during the Untitled sessions in 2003.

 

Oh, what could have been....

 

Mark’s bass tone on NINE is pretty awesome, but nothing beats his bass tone on TOYPAJ.

Also, Blame It On My Youth is still such a summer bop. Gives the same vibe as Feeling This.
