I thought this was one of those Shreds videos for a long time. Mark's reaction is the only thing that convinces me it's real haha.

 

“When you smile I melt inside”. He must have meant that literally because he actually sounds like he’s melting while he’s trying to sing that song.

I’m honestly not sure that I’ve ever heard someone (intentionally) butcher their own song like that before. That was a clear indication of someone hating what they were doing lol

 

Tom actually sounded really great on this past AVA tour, like probably his best live singing in over a decade

 

THANK YOU! I swear blink fans are impossible. When Tom was back it was "Tom looks like he doesn't wanna be there" 24/7 and "this sounds too much like Angels & Airwaves, Tom is killing blink!" and since he left it's become, "Where's Tom?!"

 

I do love When I Was Young and Dogs Eating Dogs though.

side note: blink is supposed to be on an Oliver Tree song that’s coming out today? (Maybe tomorrow)

 

You can’t listen to No Heart To Speak Of and tell me you miss Tom Delonge in blink-182.

 

I love that song, but I also miss Tom!

 

Haha I mean I miss pre 2004 Tom in blink, for sure.

 

It's crazy that Tom's almost been "post-reunion Tom" for just as long as he was "pre-breakup Tom"

 

Yankees vs. nationals currently in a rain delay on MLB opening night.

 

I wasn't even following the guys at the time, but have since caught up and I'd say it sounds like Tom wouldn't have just left AVA to the wayside. He wants to do that, and was tired with Blink. And we ARE discussing...we just happen to disagree! :P

oh gawd! lol But at least it makes me feel a bit better about the Tom I saw in concert (and that was in 2001)! Yeah, this was pretty bad. I like the other comments here though about how funny it was...but poor Mark! I do miss the chemistry the two of them had!

All of that being said, the other recent concert video posted here from Neighborhoods was epic though! Maybe not as much jokes, but it was a good performance!!

as I said, I miss the Mark Tom chemistry too...but I disagree with most of your rant. I mean, why SHOULD one stick to what they can do perfectly if it's not what they want to do?? Or I mean, if you have the choice and means to do something you love, why NOT?? I also kinda believe in his company. I'm not sure I feel exactly the same way about what should be done after we find the truth, but he does seem to have sufficient knowledge and support.

Of course I miss Blink with Tom. It's why I stopped following when he left the first time. But I can actually appreciate it all more now, to see what Mark and Travis contribute as well as what Tom did. And while I like A&A, I'd love to see Tom back in Blink too, but only if they were all on the same page. And it shouldn't ONLY be Tom that makes a compromise. Know what I mean??

I dunno. lol I just had to rant too I guess. :P

As far as why one would love Tom so much-there are so many reasons!! I mean, sometimes I wonder if I'm in denial, but then he'll do something to reel me right back in. :D

Oh, I missed this in my quote earlier! Well, now I've forgotten what I wanted to say! While I hear all the arguments for why he left (thought he left, not was kicked out but whatever), I still am a big Tom in Blink fan. I mean, I stopped following them when he left the first time. But yea, I'm happy he's happy doing his thing now. I do feel for Mark and Travis though (especially Mark). Yeah, it was a big letdown for them. I dunno. Almost seems like they should've just went off and did their own side project...but that's just this hardcore Tom fan's opinion. Blink just isn't the same...then again, the one song I did hear, I liked. And I've yet to listen to this new one... but it's gonna take a lot for me to get over the old sound. I mean, I don't know that I even ever will!

Sorry, it is a happy day for Blink fans today though! New song, that's great! Enjoy! I'll listen when I can. Till then, happy Friday Everyone!
