I really hope they don't go with Feldy. They need to go darker again and explore more sounds. When I first heard Matt was joining blink I was expecting a blink meets early AT3 sound going off and we'll I did enjoy California, the deluxe was more of the same and it just reaffirmed my thoughts of I want something new from them.

 

I'd be happy with a midway point/closer towards the darkness and lyrics of Untitled.

 

Same here! I love that album dearly. Although I don't think they will ever recapture the same magic again as the untitled album. Shame Jerry Finn isn't here to oversee another blink album he just knew how to push them creatively. He was essentially the unofficial 4th member.

 

Tom was incredibly influential to the untitled album but Mark carried on the vibe throughout +44 so with Skiba's darker contributions I feel like they could really make another great album if they pushed themselves

I know it's kinda dumb to want this from blink-182 but I really hope the next album is an artistic statement rather than a collection of fun songs

 

I'd be totally fine with Feldmann returning, but Aaron Sprinkle should produce the next record.

California would have been way more awesome and sonically and lyrically consistent if it only contained these songs:

Nvm the order of songs, this would have been a killer album that would have felt consistent with the bands history and their age.

 

Add no Future and Sober and we have a deal.

Just realized the intro of "Disaster" sounds a lot like "Good Day" off of WDNTW. Sorry if this has been pointed out. It just came across my shuffle and I recognized it right away.

Man that dog song is great. Makes me hope The Cereal Killers still becomes a thing. Mark and Matt would slay that project. Even if it's an EP....I'd be all over that.

 

Anyone remember Nothing and Nobody? Wish that had gone somewhere. Or that second +44 album.

Well this was super awkward to see in my feed.

If I wasn't hoping they'd go with a new producer before.....

 

Nothing and Nobody always seemed super weird, almost like it was a complete shot at Tom with the name and timing of announcing the side project.
