He was VERY passionate about AvA's sound. So much so that he even wrote the same record four times, that's how much he liked it.

Nothing against him, honestly, but he's like Krusty the Clown in that he'll toss his name on any object that might make a few bucks.

Fun fact:

Tom was in Blink for a total of 19 years
Travis has been in Blink for a total of 18 years
(and for good measure) Mark has been in the band for 24 years

Kinda crazy to think that Travis has been in the band for almost just as long as Tom was.

Matt has been in the band for 5 years
Scott was in the band for 6 years

It's also kinda crazy that Matt's already been in the band for almost as long as Scott was.

I'm glad Tom and Mark get along and happy he's doing what he wants but it always sours me again everytime he just has to belittle blink

Like if blink didn't exist and he starts AVA from scratch as an unknown? Absolute crickets.

 

It’s not really a big deal imo I belittle basically every song I’ve made as soon as I start working on the next thing lol

 

Starts friendly, then quickly sounds insulting and eventually sounds like narcissist. All in one little post.

It’s very easy to misinterpret things on the web, or maybe that’s exactly how he feels, but either way I can see why yet again Blink had to move on without him.

 

Bring back Tom.

 

I’m guessing you mean Tom Lord-Alge who worked with the band as mixing engineer on several Blink albums, because the other Tom really doesn’t sound like he wants to be there.

 

I personally think it's cool Mark and Tom are talking again tbh *ducks*

 

I think it’s cool and nice that they’re talking. But I don’t need Tom back in the band anytime soon.
