Is the level of cynicism unwarranted, especially given the bands most recent news regarding their decisions? It’s not a reach to feel like blink-182 isn’t composed of good people, thus resulting in the opinion I hold that this is strictly PR bullshit

  2. So we hold the band accountable for shitty collaboration decisions but charitable actions are probably just them signing on the dotted line? That’s all I’m saying. It’s active cynicism for the sake of being mad at them. That’s just not a great place for me to be mentally. And again, I’m a pretty cynical dude

Their management that handles all Merch interactions? Who else is designing and managing that. Willing to be they have very minimal involvement in that area. Don’t take the “sign here” thing literally. It was probably an email.

  4. this just seems to me like a silly thing to be trying to drag them for and I hope they sell out of the shirts. They’re horrendous

So it looks like Travis and MGK are working on a new project and their posts regarding this have the hashtag #UntitledPopPunkProject

Also, blinks shirts would be so much better if they just phoned it in by copying HMNIM prints/designs but switch out the octopus for the smiley face, or something similar to that

I gotta give it to this site. For how active this threat used to be I honestly didnt think yall would let this die, but everyone has really held to it. Interesting.

The thread will pick up again once there's more activity from the band, right now there's not much to say and the collaboration has still left a lot of bad taste in people's mouths.

Me too! Very excited to get New music from them. I wonder if they’ll tour at all for Nine...

The excitement of NINE has definitely worn off on me too. I don't revisit it much.

I still prefer NINE by a large margin. But California is cool too

Nine is probably my least listened to album or EP from blink since their 2009 reunion

    Assume It's A Bit

I've cooled on the front half a fair bit, but the back half of NINE still slaps

First Time, Darkside, and then Generational Divide all the way to the end for me.

If I had to choose between California and Nine and the one I didn't choose was eliminated from history, I'd choose California.

Never thought I'd say that. But with time passing, California feels way more like blink should to me. Nine feels pretty flat and monotonous.

I listen to Nine quite often. Menzingers’ “Hello Exile” and Bad Religion’s “Age Of Reason” were probably my favourite 3 full length records of the year last year and will stay in heavy rotation until new stuff starts to come out in 2020.

I will say I’m looking forward to new Blink stuff, but my expectations aren’t unrealistic on what’s to come. Really liked California and I was very impressed by Nine. It’s nice to have them back in full force though...flaws and all.

I think NINE is exceptionally better than California and the most excited I've been about a blink album in a long time. I am not re-visiting NINE as much due to the XXX collab turning me away more than anything else.

I saw a festival date for next summer (can't remember which one), but I can see a summer NINE tour with other songs they didnt play on the enema tour replacing the enema tracks (4-6 NINE songs, Rock Show, Feeling This, STFTK, Anthem Pt. 2, etc.) and then an August/fall UK tour.

They currently have two shows announced. I could definitely see more dates popping up around July.

    1/18 - Los Angeles
7/10-7/12 - Inkcarceration Festival in Ohio

Second half of NINE rules so much. The run of Ransom into Hungover You is my go-to lately.
