Was wondering the other day when they’re gonna have another single form NINE. My guess is once they start promoting another tour.

It’s not my favorite on the album but I’d also like to see how Hungover You would do too.

 

Pin the Grenade doesn’t feel like a radio song in 2019 to me.

PTG isn’t my fav but it feels like what people would expect blink to sound like. What do I know.

I love Heaven’s big chorus but not sure how the song itself would play on the radio. Frankly I never would have picked IRWIHY as a radio single but I guess its doing ok.

I also wouldn’t have picked I Really Wish I Hated You, but that did fairly well.

 

No Heart To Speak Of would be a great single. I'm always wrong about singles though because I said Twenty One Pilots picked the worst song as a single (Heavy Dirty Soul) and then they blew up from it.

I've actually been listening to it a lot lately. I love the part at towards the end when Mark sings part of the last chorus. No way he could do that in real life but in sounds cool on the record lol.

 

Yeah, agreed No Heart To Speak Of is also a good choice. A lot of big sounding songs on Nine.

 

No Heart would probably be the track that would turn heads and demand some attention when It comes on the radio with the way Skiba sings on it. It grabs you.

Very convenient that once again his comments are turned off. If this is an exoneration why not celebrate? Also, and I've said this way at the beginning, at the point I don't care if there is some magical case of innocence, my problem was with the way he lied and keeps lying about people approaching him about the issue to justify his shitty responses. There are plenty of people, including myself, that did not call her or h names and simply wanted to have a civil discussion with him about why other people were so upset.

 

I love Blink, and I always thought they were decent people, but it's becoming clear that they're not. Skiba and Travis are both extremely problematic for those that value social justice, equality, etc. This is ridiculous, yet so many people give them a pass.

Why isn't there a bigger uproar?

 

I mean, for me, I didn't start listening to blink because I thought they were good people (although I did think Tom was an angel), I started listening to them because I like their music.

So I don't really care if bands I like are comprised of idiots who say and do stupid shit, we all have bad takes, as long as their not using their position of power to hurt or abuse others.

The way I see it, Travis is just super tone deaf in regards to who he collabs with, but so is 99% of the rest of the hip-hop community, so those issues are more systemic than anything.

But Matt's a total douchebag who harasses fans who try to hold him accountable for his support of racists & abusers. Then he pulls the same "innocent until legally proven guilty" shit and implies everyone else is an idiot for believing the victims over the actual person in question. Fucking trash.

I love how everyone who was all "fuck Tom, Matt makes the band so much better" immediately backpedaled as soon as we started talking about that immediately.

 

Travis is tone deaf but Matt’s a total douchebag? I’d argue all three of them are total douchebags at this point.
