an optimistic way of looking at it is at least that EP should be more of a blink 182 feat. whoever thing, as opposed to a whoever feat. blink 182 like this song is.
i think Mark described the Pharrell song as "super happy punk rock" so it should be a mixed bag of sounds!

 

I hope it's just a pop punk cover/parody of his song "Happy" haha. But you're right, Blink featuring X sounds better than X feat Blink. As long as everything on it is better than that Lil Wayne collab, I'll feel better about the whole thing.

 

I just want to hear that song Feldy put up on his IG story by mistake. It sounded really promising and was similar in beat to After Midnight if I remember correctly.

Goody Grace

The "li-i-i-ife Why-y ti-i-i-ime Why-y-y? Yeah-yeah" annoy me...

It's not a blink song so I will simply forget that track...Matt not involved so it's ft. Mark & Travis actually. Matt is a great replacement, at least in the studio.

Looking forward to the new EP, hope I will like it as much as NINE, which is really great!

 

About to have an hour long MRI scan and they said i could bring music. I picked Nine!

 

I got an MRI last week and by default they looked at me, a 25 year old boy, and threw on Big Daddy.

I didn’t mind that song. I also feel like these guys will do collaborations with anyone these days. Idk if I could that unless I’m into the other person or group myself. They might be, but who knows lol.

What the fuck is a Goody Grace?

 

“Blink-182 is the reason I started playing guitar when I was a kid. Their music helped me through my entire childhood & teenage years and Icouldn’t be more honored to have them on a song of mine,” says Goody, “Travis Barker reached out to me last Fall to open for Blink in Las Vegas and we’ve became great friends since then. I hope ‘Scumbag’ can be the anthem for people’s lives such as Blink’s entire discography is for me.”

A lifelong Blink 182 fan, this dream collaboration came to be after Goody joined Blink for handful of dates on their summer tour and Las Vegas residency, providing guest vocals for their classic song, “Adam’s Song.” It was after these performances that he left with a renewed perspective. “Those shows caused a big shift, because I was a little lost,” Goody admits, “It was so motivational. I took a step back and thought, ‘Whoa, I’m opening for one of my favorite bands ever. If music got me here, I wonder where it could get me if I worked even harder.”
