This whole front half vs. back half thing is funny. I just listened to this whole thing while I was working out and was thought, "I really like the first half, but I almost tolerate it just to get to the back."

First six songs = Opening act
    Last nine songs = Headliner

I would love if Tom worked with someone who can take his work to the next level.

That article was a pretty cool read!

They're also talking right now about a possible Christmas EP, apparently. I'll take whatever Blink shit I can get, honestly, haha. I'd love for them to write another dark album though and tell their manager to fuck off. :blink182: They’re pushing 50, who cares if they don’t have a cheerful little ditty on their album. Let them write what they’re feeling and get off their lawn.

Someone asked earlier and it may have been answered but on Tuesday I got an email from live Nation or whatever that my complimentary album got mailed.

To summarize...for 35 bucks, I was about 50 rows back from the stage, non obstructed, got this album for free, and I got to hi five mark when he was setting up for wasting time. Best money I've ever spent.

The parts where Tom talked at the AVA show were by far the worst parts. The mild banter was fine, when he started going on about starting a company to unify the world and all that, it just halted the flow

Didn't help that I only recognized like 6 or 7 of the 20 song AVA set

He was also SUPER pumped to head to the recording studio for the next blink record after the Untitled 10 year shows lol.

Can we seriously talk about this?? His writing style is all over the record. The drumming may be the best he's done on any blink work. His drumming on the closing track is godly.

Skiba might be the MVP but Travis really killed it as the head coach on this record.

I think the outro of "Run Away" might be my favorite single part of the record after sitting on it for a while. His beat on that section is so cool. He typically "overplays" in a lot of places but that part is just so good and simple.

It poured here and knocked down a ton of leaves and it's like 55 degrees, and it felt like perfect weather for this album

I would kill for blink to post all their demos for the album so I could rip them and make a Crimson-style deluxe album

I selected the new Lil Wayne album.....something tells me that album is never coming out and I'll get nothing.

Happy birthday Neighborhoods. I enjoyed the album when it came out but it is not one of their best IMO. If you told me then we would get an album like NINE then I wouldn't have believed you but I am so glad we did.

I'm massively curious how NINE will age. I feel like Blink has notoriously fickle fans when it comes to things like this. Neighborhoods came out to solid 10s (including from this site if I remember correctly) and now is regarded as being fairly bad overall, California was really well received and sold quite well but now is ragged on for joke songs and Na Na's.

I do think NINE is the best of the bunch by far, but it'll be interesting how it holds up 3 or 4 years down the line.

I wonder this too. It’s a fantastic album, no doubt. It is so immediately likeable that I do worry about how it’ll age. Some of my fav albums took some time to really sink in and grow
