Also, Mark plays Happy Holidays but not Online songs while giving that excuse?

Not that I want Online Songs to be played but his stance is weirdly rigid on this. They even play Wasting Time acoustic.

It wouldn't do them bad to loosen up a bit when it comes to live shows.

I wouldn't doubt it if he had a good stock pile of songs built up that he brought in to the initial sessions for California before they decided to start fresh with Feldy. I'm sure once he got to that point he was kind of ready to move on from whatever blink was post-reunion.

 

Towards the bottom of the list though.

Like I said, I do understand why the band do what they do. But I do think they should give a nod to the die hards regarding the setlist once in awhile, I also do wish Mark wouldn't just give a smug answer.

exactly, haha. i care much less than most people about the blinkumentary at this point. if anything, i think it would just make me sad.

 

Agreed and who knows maybe he still used a guitar/bass line riff or a few lines of lyrics. Would definitely be a fun question to ask him.

 

with the Camden live show that eventually got out there, and now this Dude Ranch demo, i don't know if its a good thing or a bad thing that blink has reached the status of super-fans having rare blink media that requires you to take out a mortgage if you want to buy it/release it publicly

 

I think I would have the opposite reaction and think it would be high comedy with all 3 guys talking about how much they love each other and how everything is so much better and the band is closer than ever before.

If you want to get sad watch UC2, especially the part where Tom or Mark say the other one is their best friend and they can't go a day without talking to them.

yeah, that part of UC2 used to bum me out sooo much when i'd watch it during their hiatus.

 

I really need to go back and watch both of them soon. Man I love the 2001/2002 blink era the most.

 

Could you imagine if blink did a small venue tour that was just deep cuts? I'd pay a lot to see that.
