Don't worry, the rankings will be postponed as soon as we get a new song at some point today/tomorrow..... That should hold us off for a few more hours.

Tbh I can't imagine placing this much higher than California. This album is definitely more consistent, but I think the good on California was better. Idk, I have a lot of memories attatched to that album so it may change.

Also yeah, I love Enema & TOYPAJ, but they're not perfect albums, despite their phoenomenal songwriting and cultural impact. Neighborhoods is far from cohesive, but I'd still argue it has some of the best work of their career, so putting it above Enema isn't TOO outlandish.

EDIT: I said Enema & TOYPAJ aren't great, which in hindsight was super dumb, I just meant to say they weren't 10/10 albums.

Idk it’s easy to me. As time has gone on I think California is straight up bad, and most of my complaints about that album are absent from this one.

Don’t. I think $250 is way too much for that. $150 sounds feasible. But that’s almost three full hundos for something that probably isn’t constructed of the best material.

Wait for it to go on sale over Black Friday when they inevitably will have more.

Bored To Death, San Diego, Left Alone, & Sober are better than most of this album, in my opinion.

Kings Of The Weekend, California, No Future are also way worse than anything on this album. So it's a mixed bag for me. Ultimately there's still time to wait and see how I connect to these songs long-term, but I'm not sure these songs have the same magic to me.

People are talking about how Nine's lyrics are more "honest" or whatever, but they all kind of blend together for me. I stopped listening to lyrics as closely since 2016, so that might be most of it, but it's not as instant for me this time around.

They are currently sold out on the merch store, but if some come back at a sale price, I would definitely get one.

If they were $150 then I’d prob just get one. Wife said no to $250 for a sign haha. Buuuuut she was ok with me buying a $400 jaguar bass body for a MH build.

This might be a dumb conclusion to draw from a 30 second clip, but I can see why it didn’t make the record. Sounds like a fun song, but not as strong as most of what’s on here already.

  24. I wish “Remember to Forget Me” didn’t still have the acoustic guitar going during the end of the song when it gets all big and rockin. The acoustic guitar distracts me too much during that part.

I definitely think that has something to do with it. If I recall I think a lot of the young blink fans in this thread seem to like Neighborhoods a lot more than the older fans because it was their first new blink release.
