I havea TOYPAJ tour 2001 poster of Mark mid air with his pink bass that I've always loved.. it's not in the best shape cause I never got it framed but I still love it, it's rolled up in my closet

EDIT: Also, I loved the Hurley/blink collab shirts they did back in the day

 

Last year on this day around this time I was sitting on a couch with Mark, Matt and Travis. Funny how different this year turned out lol

Yeah, I am going. Also looking at the weather..looks like it's 100% thunder storms all evening so I don't know if it's going to happen. Basically checking the venue's twitter all day.

 

FWIW, I know that they're playing in South Dakota tomorrow and Denver on 8/12. If they do have to reschedule, I don't think 8/11 would work. Also I'm not even sure they sold enough tickets to justify a reschedule in a first place.

If this gets cancelled, I'll be super happy that I was able to see them in Chicago last week haha.

 

Maybe they'll reschedule it for 09/13, you know, because that day is open now

Man, outdoor venues are so risky. They should always have contingency plans just in case. I know certain people travel pretty far distances to see bands play...

 

I haven't seen Blink 182 in concert since the early 2000's when it was the original line up. But picked up a ticket for show this Saturday. Is the performance different now that the members have changed?

 

And outdoor venues generally sound like shit anyway. Bring back the clubs and/or arenas!

 

Yup. Don't expect much banter.

 

You'll be happy to know that they brought back the big FUCK sign, and they still do pyrotechnics, confetti, etc. Skiba plays Tom songs and most of us in this thread think that he does a great job. Definitely less banter than early 00's, but the shows are a blast.
