I’ve been swamped and only listened to a few songs. It’s okay, I’ll listen at some point this weekend

 

I’ve listened 3 times this morning already. Love this album. Especially since I’ve had a very rough time the last few months this was a needed light in the darkness.

 

Instagram comments are pleasantly positive. I love it.

I still love the album cover with the neon sign & the wooden rainbow paint. I don't even know if it actually matches the dark themes that run through the album, but I enjoy looking at it and cannot wait to see it on my vinyl.

 

haha yeah that's definitely a part of the album that I'm like, maybe that style of singing isn't for you... but it's fine, still a rad song.

 

really pleased with the record overall. definitely feels like a cohesive group and like skiba is way more comfortable. so happy with how they captured gritty Skiba vocals.

 

The First time is suuuuch a great opener. This album has me all up in my feels.

 

It’s been a rock and roll theme at work this week for employee appreciation. We got to wear band shirts today lol it was too good an opportunity to pass up

 

An AVA FB group I follow are all commenting on the album, and one person hates it because "blink bought all these songs from songwriters and didn't write anything themselves. The days of bands writing their own music is over."

Yea its wishful thinking since they moved the concert time up by an hour and hinted to "surprises" at the show on twitter.

 

Everyone seems to love Run Away....what the hell am I missing?! It's my least favorite on here.

It just sounds like Los Angeles with different lyrics lol

 

Had my first listen with good headphones late last night. I need to let it sink in more before I post anything substantial. I was more pulled into the 2nd half of the record but that could just be because the 1st is stacked with the pre-release singles. Happy release day everyone!

2nd half is definitely better but you’re right it could be because we heard 3 out of the first 5 songs before the album dropped.

I broke and listened to the leak 1 time last week. And now this morning I’ve listened...4 times lol

 

I really do love from 7-15. I think I burned myself out on the singles, but the back half is SO GOOD.

I'm always surprised by how short Ransom is. I feel like they left some meat on that bone.

 

After sitting with this album for over a week now, I have a Big Takeaway™ that it was weird to release Happy Days before the album dropped. It's definitely one of the lesser songs on the album
