Live sounded incredible. Matt was spot on, and didn’t sound mumbly live- half the space of the place was consumed by equipment.

I noticed Travis' snare going in and out. Thought the guitars sounded great though.

 

My vinyl is an hour away in CT so that's good hah.

My next day cd hasn't even shipped, considering they mention the flooding on the Fedex site it must have something to do with that you figure.

Yeah- so the miking/mixing setup was incredibly isolated because everything was so close. Travis was killing it, and you could truly feel that- but it’s clear from the stream it sounded like there was quite a bit of (almost) cross-channel talk.

Also, open bar. That was fun.

 

I totally bought the chips so I could do the whole augmented reality thing. Video quality was terrible but it was a fun little gimmick.

 

How’d you get the tickets? I to get them when it was first announced but nothing. Kinda bummed I couldn’t go

 

I think it was free and you just showed up

 

Had to submit for the RSVP within a 2 hour window. They capped it at 600 according to a security, and they were only going to do around 150 (plus some Spotify employees and family/friends)

 

The crowd was LOUD- and you get next to none of that in the stream.

 

Hot take:

Generational Divide is the band's second best music video. Right behind Always.

I'm so surprised at how much I like Hated You live. With Travis having more of a presence on it live, it's really good
