Also, the bridge ---> end of "On Some Emo Shit" gets me every time. Mark holding out a note into when the band comes back in sounds so good.

This album is such a fun listen and was exactly what I needed from this band.

 

I think my top 3 is Heaven, Pin the Grenade and No Heart to Speak Of

Which is why I feel like a song like this or even STFTK to a lesser degree should be in the set more often.

 

I think my new favorite tonight is Remember to Forget Me. That chorus is fucking dynamite.

 

They were absolutely perfect tonight. My 36th show and first with my wife.

 

36th blink show? Oh man! I don’t think I’ve missed more than one or two LA shows since ‘99 and I’ve traveled to see them but I doubt I’ve hit 30. Nice!

 

Lived in Phx my whole life until this past Feb. Took many shows since 96 in the Southwest to hit 36.

 

Dan from Story of the year was there too apparently lol

 

Hm, I’ve seen blink 8 times live from the TOYPAJ tour to their first riot fest show after the reunion. I even missed a friends wedding for it. Wished I had the money to have gone to this last tour.

 

Matt is so fucking good in Hungover You.

Aside from that, this album isn't very good.

 

Not that it's one of my top tracks or anything, but I find myself coming back to Ransom a lot. I just love the second half of that song.

 

took a while for "Hungover You" to grow on me but I love it now. the switchup near the end when they swap parts - where Matt does "remember your voice, but it's only an echo" and Mark does the "it feels like last night you came over" - is so good

 

I woke up with the chorus to “heaven” stuck in my head.

Skiba's bridge on Heaven kills too. Doesn't get talked about enough

I mean to be fair what DOESN'T Skiba kill it on

 

Skibas voice is super interesting in this compared to California where there wasn't enough contrast to mark imo.

The angsty singing is where he shines for sure.

 

I think third week Post Malone is the biggest obstacle for blink. Zack Brown Band uploaded a music video 5 days ago and it only had like 80k views

 

In the chorus of Heaven when mark sings “Heaven doesn’t want me nowwwww” reminds me of chapter 13 “I’m scraped and sober but no ones listening” for some reason
