Just finished it right now. Actually pretty good, will be spinning it quite a bit. Nice to have a good album with Skiba and it makes me think I’ll never listen to California again haha.

Unfortunately blink just doesn’t hit me the way they used to, but that has nothing to do with writing. I just don’t really listen to this kind of music anymore.

Adrenaline is still the best song Mark has been involved in this year.

 

Yeah California set the bar pretty low. There isn't a single song on there with a hook nearly as good as anything on here

 

Think the closer is my favorite.

 

I really hope blink does a "real" NINE tour next year, where they get to bust out the new deep cuts and such.

I hope they move to smaller venues they can sell out fairly easily next tour, so pop-punk kids can pop off, lol.

 

I really wasn't expecting a "breakup" album from them with this, but that's the impression I get from all of these songs. I really can't get over how great this album is.

 

I really dig ransom haha, that chorus is sooo Feldmann (not in a bad way).

Hungover you is my favorite so far,

 

I love the chorus to Run Away.

Travis does some amazing work here.

California had some songs I really like but, as a record, it just was flat.

This is a step up in pretty much every direction. No "na na nas" every song. No joke songs. Diversity between the songs and a ton of little details on songs instead of the most straight rock possible.

My only complaint so far are the lyrics. I know Blink 182 was never known for that but I feel they could do better than this. It's better than California of course but I feel they can push that aspect further next time.

Deleted the leak. Listened to it twice front to back and some songs a couple more times.

Will listen to it again on release.

The First Time is such a great opener, Skiba really shines on it.

 

Played this for the fiancée lastnight and she was shocked how fast it went by. It really is such a quick and easy album to get through. The replayability this album has is perfect. I haven’t wanted to listen to a new Blink album over and over again since Untitled.

It’s gonna be so hard not to listen to this all day long again today. But I’ll try and be strong! Gonna try to hold off listening to it again until the 20th.

 

No heart definitely should have been a Skiba song, he absolutly owns it. But I have to say that song is going to be rough for him live, never heard him have so many high notes before.

 

The file I downloaded won't let me put the songs in order, so that stinks.

 

You can fix this by moving the files to your PC and editing naming conventions through the file properties. If you want to go through the trouble, you can Google a few solutions. I had the same issue in the past.

 

It's amazing how much Untitled vibes I get on this record.

 

The chorus on " On Some Emo Shit " gives me Trio vibes and I love it.

 

With the tour now ending in Brooklyn, I wonder if the band is lining up any NYC press/late night appearances for the following week.
