Lol I thought of that too.

 

The chorus to "Pin The Grenade" sounds like it would be in a party scene on American Pie or something. Takes me right back to the early 2000s.

 

Listened to it once and it’s a great record. Such a step up from California.

It's like you have to go through a wave of singles and then it's jumping off a cliff haha

 

I just think its funny how Happy Days, Generational Divide, and Darkside are more indicative of how the album sounds.

I like BIOMY a lot, but I feel BIOMY and I Really Wish I Hated You probably should've been left off for that future EP or something.

I'm just, very perplexed at their single choices lol

 

Because I saw the same thing with Neighborhoods and California. People were saying "zomg this is their best work since self-titled" and then after the initial buzz died down after a few months, most people acknowledged that those records sucked.

 

NINE feels so much more natural than California.

 

You seem to be speaking for others and that's not cool. Let people feel how they wanna feel.

I have similar issues with the production that I had with California (when Ransom explodes is a good example), but it IS better.

 

Then just wait for that day to come to say "I told you so" instead of trying to kill the buzz. Who cares if people cool off on the records later? Who does it hurt to be excited about it on the first couple of listens?

 

Yup, this is pretty fantastic.

 

This is really good! I can hear some interlude-sounding parts that reminds me of Untitled, so I can se where that comparison came from. Overall, of course, it doesn't sound like that album but I'm happy to say that blink has reinvented themselves again! There are some fresh sounds on this record. Definitely better than I expected.

My favourites after my first listen, without thinking too much about it, would be Run Away, No Heart To Speak Of and Hungover You.
