Show was a ton of fun, seeing a band of this size in a club setting is usually amazing and they didn't disappoint. Can't be too bummed at the setlist, they never been known for a diverse setlist. The girl I was with knew the hits and I obviously knew everything, so I think they've done a good job splitting the middle in terms of reaching casuals and die hards. They can't help it that we're zealots haha.

I do enjoy that they have competent guitar playing now.

Lolla tonight will be live streamed if they don't cancel due to rain like last night when I tried to watch Lorde.

So dumb they didn't change the setlist. They could at least sprinkle in Always or Josie occasionally

Typical setlist.....Blink is one of my favorite bands of all time but I may just skip their set at Life is Beautiful. Especially if its true that they'll conflict with Chance. I've already seen them 3 times on this California tour and its been the exact same every time (with Only Thing that Matters/SOOHM/San Diego rotating).

  5. even if Blink had 2 variations of the same setlist so it made it even just a littttttttttle bit random, that'd be better than what they have now. you go to a blink show and you know exactly what they're going to play, and in what order. i guess it's easier to deviate from the set and play a random request or something if the other original songwriter is in the band... i don't think they've practiced at their studio in quite a while, so they haven't been able to work on anything different, which makes sense. but still.... grr!

I won't be seeing them again until they drastically change this set-list or when Tom.is.back.

Yeah...these guys need to change their setlist. Especially for special/more intimate shows. Like really? Come on, guys. Thats just being lazy at this point. If Incubus can change their setlist almost every show and get away with it during arena shows, Blink can too haha.

Here to echo everyone else. They really dropped the ball last night. They should've pulled some surprises out last night

  12. They should do something like this, where they basically flip a coin each night:

    Feeling This
    The Rock Show
    Cynical
    Anthem Part 2/Roller Coaster
    What's My Age Again?
    First Date
    Bored To Death
    Built This Pool/Brohemian Rhapsody
    Down/Obvious
    I Miss You
    Dumpweed/Wendy Clear
Reckless Abandon/Stay Together For The Kids
    She's Out Of Her Mind
    Sober/After Midnight
    Violence
    Kings Of The Weekend/Los Angeles
    Family Reunion
    Dysentery Gary/Josie
    Carousel

    All The Small Things
    Dammit

Yeah...The same songs over and over again doesn't bring a new experience to the show. Which is a shame.

  14. even bands like Dave Matthews Band. some nights, they won't even play their singles!

Even I think, in all of my fan boyish, that last night should have had a different setlist since it was such a special show.

That being said, for the usual tours it may be that fanboyism but as long as they add in a couple new ones like they've been doing I haven't gotten tired of it yet

I'd be fine with them keeping these songs, and extending the setlists. I feel like they should be shooting for 1 hour 45 minute-2 hour setlists with the size of their discography.

Do people only go to shows to see shit that they know?

It'd be cool to go to a show and hear stuff I'm not familiar with.

  18. I go to Blink shows cause I have no idea how many we have left.

if I were in a famous band like that...I'd want to at least record live sessions of us playing every album front to back for the fans and just for fun. Something the band and fans can always have.

Also, Skiba should convince Mark and Travis to do a Blink Past Live tour like Alkaline Trio where they play all their albums front to back over 2 or 3 day shows.

Let's hold our breath until we disappear

While I agree with the setlist comments in here, that Metro show was a complete blast. I was so blown away and am still excited about it all this morning.

Meeting them all yesterday was awesome too! Great day all around.

    Round 2 at Lolla today.

It's funny that these guys all love The Cure so much since that band plays like 30 songs each night full of deep cuts and don't have to play every hit

30+ songs with a lot of their songs being double to triple the length of Blink songs
