I fucking LOVE that album.

 

Not one bad fucking song on it either, and I had no clue they are releasing a new album too. The new songs they have been playing are different but are fucking good.

 

I love that album but have always thought In the Wake and Black Swan were their best. Page Ave is definitely a classic though.

Even though I'm on this thread a lot I probably really only listen to an album of theirs once or twice a month

I listen to them at least once every couple days. The album varies. Last one I listened to before the canceling was Dude Ranch. I listen to other stuff around them of course

 

Ryan is one of the best guitarists in the scene, and Feldy didn't let him show it on PA. I love that he got to let loose on the following albums.

 

Why do I have a vivid image of you being Kramer from The Contest episode of Seinfeld as you and your friends have a contest who can go the longest without listening to blink and then you leave the room right away and 2 minutes and 30 seconds later you come back in and throw money on the table and say "I'm out".

I listened to In Love And Death the other day. Still love everything about that record, production included.

Not sure if you're referring to the pop-up shop edition from Chicago, but it is a teal color. The gold ones weren't sold here.
