Tom is also on a UL record leaving a voicemail for one of the band members at the end of the album I believe.

 

just chucked the singles on my phone in the album order. "Blame It On My Youth" into "Generational Divide" is really dope, those songs make a lot of sense together dynamically and lyrically. Not sure about "Darkside" into "Blame It" though, hopefully that grows on me

Yeah I like the album cover too, it's simple like TOYPAJ. Sometimes less is more.

i think i prefer the neon smiley of the Happy Days single artwork just because i'm not big on the blink-182 font but as someone earlier said, i don't doubt the neon smiley will be the cd image.

and no Mark i will not accept the hidden "L" on this cover being the L in blink, thats a cop out. preorder pre-cancelled.

 

I'm ready to preorder whatever vinyl bundle they have. I hope they do a rainbow colored vinyl for this.

 

Darkside is okay. So far I don't like any of the tracks better than most of California, most of neighbourhoods, or all of dogs Eating Dogs. Fingers crossed for some top tier non-single blink tracks on Nine.

I mean, there’s definitely a little bit of green in there, but I get what you’re saying haha. “Neon” is probably a better way to describe it.

 

Has it been confirmed if preorders are defiantly tonight? I saw it on the rolling stone article, but that's it. Is it EST or PST?

 

Yeah there is some green in the yellow part actually now I look at it properly!

 

The way the press release is worded is sort of confusing:

The album will be available for pre-order digitally beginning at 12am ET tonight HERE, with special versions including limited colored vinyl, cassette and CD to follow.

 

I don't hate the artwork but I definitely would've preferred the pink color scheme from the "Happy Days" artwork. Also making "blink-182" a bit smaller to add some more white space to the sides but I'm just getting nitpicky. Excited for the album!

Very confusing. “To follow” could mean Friday around noon, or it could very well mean in a few weeks. Why isn’t anything ever easy with this band? Haha
