Regardless if it’s just Travis or Blink altogether - this is disappointing for sure. Fuck XXX.

Speaking of problematic collaborations among blink members, let's not forget Matt Skiba's support of Douglas Pearce, frontman of the anti-semitic, neo nazi band Death in June.

Fuck me dead, can this dude's legacy just die like he did? He is an actual monster and it's nothing short of depressing how much people ride his pathetic dick no matter how abusive and degenerate he was.

And honestly fuck Blink. This is more than enough reason to say I'm through woth even my final shred of respect or appreciation for them.

And fuck that K dude on here. Dude is a clown ass douchebag.

Jesus man for real? Yuck. I'm so deeply ashamed for how badly I fell for Pearce's bullshit and how much I rationalised enjoying Death In June's music to a degree I can only say is matched by how I feel about my former love of Morrissey and The Smiths.

Tom DeLonge would never have agreed to such a collaboration. I hope this site stops supporting blink after this shit.

Travis was supposed to drum on XXX's tour as well before he passed away

Better late than never! I wish more DIJ fans could take a step back and see the band's bullshit for what it is. I've been hoping Skiba would come around to that too but it doesn't seem likely. Anytime the controversy surrounding Pearce contributing to Alkaline Trio is brought up, Skiba only doubles down on his support, even as recently as last year when Vice interviewed him for their retrospective on the Trio's catalog.

Not sure if you follow the blog A Blaze Ansuz, but they do a great job of highlighting anti-fascist neofolk bands around the world: A Blaze Ansuz: Antifascist Neofolk

Damn. That sucks about Skiba, he seems like auch a cool, well-intentioned dude.

I will now! I needed that a lot actually so thanks, it's getting harder and harder to see which neofolk bands aren't fascists at this point.

A tale as old as time... reminds me of when sports teams sign players with sketchy history.
