This post really confused me. I thought maybe this was single art that got revealed, but it appears to just be fan art he posted on his Instagram story? All of the social profile pics changed weeks ago so it doesn’t seem there have been any updates on that front. He’s still just had cryptic tweets (now including a tomato emoji). But still no news...

 

I like how he says "soon" however many weeks ago, and yet whatever he's planning isn't actually soon

 

Announcing there will soon be an announcement... an announcement of an announcement, rather... for something that’s not actually coming soon.

Reminds me of another musical figurehead, in particular lol.

 

I saw Bleachers at Summerfest last July and Jack said that he needed to play that show to push the album over the finish line. I then saw Bleachers in Las Vegas in December and he basically said the same thing. That's fine, take as long as you need to make the songs. I think it's been done for quite a while now, and I'm just over bands being cryptic and teasing for more than a week in length. Two weeks is pushing it. A month or longer is just tiring at this point. So I'm just patiently waiting for real news to come along, because I am so inexplicably excited for a new Bleachers record I can barely contain it. Both Bleachers records are so very special to me, and this one is going to come along at a time when I really need it.

 

listen its obvious he prioritizes writing pop albums for *the biggest current pop stars all at the same time* and thats,,,,,,,,fine/good, right?

 

I mean... I don’t fault him for that. He’s in demand... good for him.

All I know is he said "this year no matter what" so I'm holding to that

 

i assume he’s been busy taking the sadness out of saturday night

Can't wait for my recurring Saturday routine tomorrow of waking up feeling the hype train then ending the day once again horribly disappointed
