Lost Cause is pretty awesome. Feels more along the lines of My Future, which is probably my favorite so far. Therefore I Am is a lot of fun, but I do agree with the WWAFA b-side description. Your Power is good, but doesn't really excite me that much.

gotta admit, the song is a bit less exciting on its own without the energetic video

These singles are just massively underwhelming. Her early singles from the last record had such a different vibe and energy, these tracks sound so lifeless.

Really hoping there’s some surprises on the record. Is her brother still co-writing/producing all these or is she working with other co-writers now?

Tend to agree with this. I love the last record, though I admit it was a bit of a grower for me. Hopefully this winds up the same, but not digging these songs at all.

I actually really like how this is shaping up to be different from her debut, My Future is the only one I'm kind of iffy on and even then I don't mind it. Lost Cause is a lowkey banger, Your Power has the great message, Therefore I Am is a quasi-inbetween sound of her debut and this new stuff, I'm digging it.

Also keep in mind this is only 4 songs out of 16, there's still another 12 we haven't heard. I'd say my biggest concern is if her and Finneas can pull off a 56 minute album but I'm liking it so far

I mean it was pretty obvious how much Billie hates recording from her documentary. Finneas seems to have the biggest energy of the two when it comes to writing.

This Prime performance is pretty cool. I actually like this version of Lost Cause more than the studio recording

I'm finding it kinda interesting that Your Power and Lost Cause both kinda were a flash in the pan. Despite personally not falling in love with either, I kinda thought that Billie being Billie would mean they'd still be big hits.

I don't think this album will be a "flop" per say, but being a month away I gotta say that I'm surprised how little I see about the album or her

Yeah compared to the hype and single success of the last album, these singles aren't doing so well. I wondering if they're saving the big radio smash for like a week or two before the album drops.

The hype behind this record has completely subsided. None of the early singles are doing well at radio and neither of them are on the Hot 100 this week, less than 4 weeks after being released.

Billie never reminded me of a pop star that could be marketed to the teen masses, she just got caught up in that hype based on a few singles that hit in the mainstream. Really hoping that if this record doesn't do as well commercially that she doesn't acquiesce and chase radio hits on future releases.

Yeah the hype for this record hasn’t been great at all. Started off well but the singles just haven’t been as captivating as some of her previous material unfortunately.

Hoping the rest of the album has some gems on it.

Touring wise she seems to be set up for sold out arena dates here in the U.K. at least.

I was actually gonna post something similar, it really feels like there's no real excitement for this album at all which is really weird after how fucking massive the last album was. I'm sure it's still gonna do huge numbers but I don't think it's going to be nearly as successful as the debut

Tour tickets are already sold so it'll be fine. Worst case scenario this era ends quicker than anticipated and we're back at it with a new record late 2022
