I would kill to see girl in red and Billie Eilish together. The audience for that would be unreal.

 

Question that has probably been asked a million times, but who picks the openers? Does someone on her team / label give her a list of artists and she listens to them and gives her opinions on yes/no? Do they start with her and then see if the artist wants to / can work those dates? Is it always a record label behind the scenes thing that the main artist has no say in or opinion on unless they want to?

Always curious how that works and with an artist as huge as her (and I have no idea how big any of the opening artists are) that’s gotta be crazy big promotion and distribution for them.

 

was listening to this in the car today and my wife recognized the title track from tiktok. So I guess it's starting to blow up there which means I'm gonna guess it'll be the hit from the album

 

Rightly so that song slaps

 

I'll be that guy and say the first half of the song is boring as fuck and I wish it did even something slightly interesting before pt 2 of the song starts. If it was just the second half of the song it'd be my favorite on the album but you have to slog through the first part to get to it

 

I don’t know if it’s super boring, but the first part just kind of sounds like one of the many Billie uke songs. It might be a little too long of a walk to get to that second half, but it hits so hard that it’s worth it. It’s the best latter half of a song for since Timberlake’s “I Think That She Knows.”

 

It’s very Phoebe “I Know The End” ish but perhaps not as good in the first half? I do agree the second half is the best part of the song by far.

 

Phoebe’s “I Know the End” walked so Billie’s “Happier Than Ever” could run.

 

I Know The End is just Road to Joy anyway

What I'm saying is this quiet to loud song structure is nothing new.

Sugar Ray once wrote a song called "Rivers" for the "Scream 2" soundtrack because it sounds like a pretty solid Weezer song. Do whatever you will with that knowledge.

I snagged the Walmart pale yellow pressing on a whim but haven't listened yet because I need new speakers.

 

Damn, I was actually thinking about heading to Target this week to get that blue vinyl. Maybe I'll pass now.
