Still kinda hope they win next year but honestly Ozark winning over Rhea has completely devalued an Emmy to zero for me

 

Ozark is one of the work fucking shows of all time

 

BCS all of a sudden winning an award 14 months after it last aired would be super weird and the chances are probably at less than 0%

There will be zero momentum and I doubt AMC or whoever is in charge of doing Emmy campaigns would even sink any time or money into campaigning for anything.

 

we could also just appreciate that the show was sick and not give a shit about some dumb awards ceremony that everyone says sucks and that they're constantly wrong

 

I've not watched squid games or Ozark so I can't really jump on the 'they were robbed' train but I am astounded by the lack of awards they've got when this show has been so well received and reviewed by pretty much every media outlet.

Also, it's funny looking at the reaction to Ozark's last season. I haven't seen anyone say it's just okay. I've only heard it's great or the worst thing ever. I don't know why I've never given it a go, I probably will at some point.

 

That's because he's absolutely rocking that beard.

 

Doesn't affect my appreciation for the show, still my favorite show ever lol. Also this is definitely my favorite fanbase of a show or movie ever.

 

if anyone tells you that last season of Ozark was great, run the the opposite direction
