Wow, there was nothing left to do but show the true end for Saul. No cheap thrills and I absolutely wouldn't want any.

 

while it's in line with his character, hard to not be extremely frustrated that Saul just sabotaged himself and will die in prison.

 

I don’t feel slightly frustrated at that

Agreed. This is what I expected (and wanted) out of this show. No bullshit, no ridiculous twists for the sake of it, just close his story the way it needs to be closed.

Man, I’m going to miss these shows. All I can really say.

 

Absolutely perfect ending. I am quite sad now though.

 

That was a wild fucking ride.
I really thought he was going to sell Kim down the river. But when he saw her in prison, that little bit of regret in his eye after he grabbed her hands and she said “you had them down to 7 years” was so fucking sad. Oh my god.

We were really seeing Jimmy in all the eras here. The scene with Walt felt like Jimmy, not Saul. And at the end, even though he’s apparently the most popular guy in prison, there’s still some Jimmy left on the inside.

They stuck the landing. Man, this fucking show.
