My wife just came home and showed me this band... holy crap they're good.

 

Probably my most anticipated album for next year, even w a new Brian Fallon album on the way. Gotten rly into these folx this semester

Lili played two new songs on her livestream earlier today and they both sound great. One of them is not finished yet but the other is.

Really insane that they are playing Coachella.

Heads up: The Chicago show at Metro is about to sell out.

 

I can't believe they are about to sell out the Metro. So insane. I guess their next stop is the House of Blues (not sure where else they could play, don't think they are big enough for the Riv yet).

 

House of Blues really isn't any bigger. They're really about to be at that awkward Front Bottoms level. My guess is either Pitchfork or Riot later this year (probably Pitchfork). As for venues on their next tour, most likely 2 nights at Metro or House of Blues, or even a mini-Thalia Hall residency like Whitney. Or a co-headlining tour to push them up to Riv or Radius

I for one am SHOCKED that the Chi show sold out the day everyone on this site found out the Beths sold out five months in advance lol.

But fortunately I scooped tickets up to this long ago. Now grabbing them for Ratboys record release lol.

 

Haha, what a coincidence. I'll be at all three of those (well, hopefully The Beths) and also going to Stella Donnelly, which I remember you saying you were interested in, so there's that too. So many good shows happening at this time of the year.

 

I'm tbd on SD as I'm trying to be mindful of costs, but maybe will make a decision closer to the show.
