I pretty much said exactly this to my wife just now when she asked.

Just got out of Barbie, I've got an hour to wait for Oppenheimer, and I wasn't expecting to feel that existential after this.

Man this was awesome. Just joyous and thoughtful and loving and hilarious all the way through.

Stephen Malkmus joke almost made me fall out of my seat

Laughed way harder and way more often in this movie than I expected.

Really loved this. Some of the jokes need to be seen to be believed. Maybe the best studio comedy in years? I laughed so much

This was really great. Was concerned for like 10 minutes that it was going to be more generic fish-out-of-water story once they entered the real world, akin to like the 90s Brady Bunch movies. But it didn’t go down that road at all. Gosling completely stole the show

Probably the hardest I laughed was Allen wanting to get out of Kendom before the Kens learned how to build the barricade sideways instead of just a straight vertical stack of bricks

The Brady Bunch Movie didn’t deserve this stray.

I didn’t mean any disrespect to it, just that I was going to feel disappointed if that was the extent of the humor here

A movie about world-shaking events that will irreversibly change the course of human history, and Oppenheimer.

Loved this, the ultimate intersection of women’s empowerment and dudes rock. Hope Matchbox 20 got a fat paycheck.

if this doesn't get an Oscar for visual effects and costume I will be so disappointed, it's crazy how in a sea of cgi practical effects are so magical

Watched this with my wife last night and we were both pretty blown away. It’s just so damn clever and endearing. Robbie is simply incredible. The film can go from slapstick to beautifully poignant within seconds, and it doesn’t feel jarring. Gerwig’s and Baumbach’s shared love for classic screwball is evident throughout, which obviously isn’t a surprise after Frances Ha and Mistress America.

On a side note, it was wonderful to see so many in the theater dressed in pink and so stoked to see the film. It set such a warm vibe, and was an excellent reminder of just how important the theatrical experience is.
