Literally can only mention Say Anything and Valencia when talking about big emo bands he booked. Can’t even mention “Freshman” bands that he booked when asked about it. Worst promoter ever.

 

If it doesn't get cancelled, I'll be watching what happens like I watched WWWY last year. Windy day aside, I don't think this will fare nearly as well.

Eh I wouldn’t go that far. GCW regularly features top independent talent from around the world and has mostly outgrown their deathmatch beginnings. That being said, I highly doubly they bring any big names in for this lol

 

I still can't believe this guy said Paramore would've blown their budget, but then went ahead and booked a magician, a puppet, C-market wrestling and a B Boy competition.

 

one glance at their Collective lineup for this weekend will tell you otherwise. Sure they have deathmatches but the quality of wrestling they showcase has skyrocketed. That being said, I can promise none of that talent will be at Bamboozle.

 

Someone in the Facebook group also said they have a copy of the podcast if mine ends up failing

the best part is you and I know that to be true, but Brett said on his podcast that John D paid them to bring an A show, like paid him how much it costs for him to book talent. But you and I both know that Janela, Effy, and Allie might be there, but the rest are gonna be low level local guys.

Unfortunately my YouTube account is my full legal name so I am honestly reconsidering uploading there haha (I don't care if people here know it, I've uploaded/shared stuff on here from it, but I'd rather John D not know)

I actually really believe that guy has nothing to do with Scamboozle. I feel terrible, he explained why John D thinks it’s him and gave his story why it isn’t him. Like it’s crazy.

 

It felt to me like when John was laughing and scheming about “Alphonso” the other guys were definitely thinking “hahaha… what the fuck?”

I’m sure they only know what John’s told them but I kinda got the feeling that they suddenly realized he was talking about crossing a line

 

I am regretfully one of the few that had originally purchased tickets way back in November. Just got an email that my tickets were upgraded to VIP....
