Hard agree. And actually, I'm wondering if that might be a fun game for the Riot Fest thread at some point. "Fantasy Line-up" building or something... With some sort of upvote/downvote system for bookings, stage placements, etc.

May do some digging to see if there's a site that has a system for shit like that.

Hah, actually... 100gecs would be perfect in lieu of Meth and Red. Though, personally, I'd much prefer those two over gecs. I'm also old.

I debated other variations that included GWAR or Death Grips but I really wanted ICP to headline which kinda threw Death Grips out. And the ICP/GWAR combo just felt a tad too obvious.

 

I imagine we’d creative a lineup that’s like a mix of Riot, FunFunFun, and FYF.

 

With attempts to include a dash of Furnace Fest and Fest that would likely get shot down. LOL

Either way, now my brain is working in overdrive coming up with fantastical stage line-ups/themes.

So I guess two of his big reunions he was hyping up were Say Anything and Finch. Welp, the week before Bamboozle Finch is doing two nights in NYC and Say Anything is doing 4 nights.
And did I mention Steve Aoki is doing an NYC show in April?

It’s honestly impressive that he made a lineup almost entirely consisting of artists who have multiple shows in the tri state area already announced, just played the tri state area, or who famously play the tri state area alot.

 

Even more impressive that despite all those facts, his ego still allowed him to mock Adjacent's lineup for being "bands that always play Starland"

 

"Yeah my fest lineup can't FILL Starland, take that Adjacent"

 

to be fair he has like five people on that lineup that could fill Starland

He had one kid in the Fb comments that like everytime someone says something about bands dropping or communication or something says something like shit happens, chill, no big deal, just go and have fun. It’s super annoying.
