311 isn’t very good, but their cover of “Love Song” is actually fantastic.

I heard pitbull is an amazing entertainer live. He played a show in my town a few years ago and I didn't go but everyone was raving about him afterwards and said he stole the show with how he was able to get the crowd going. When I saw Enrique a few years ago, Pitbull had played a show in the area the night before and I was low-key hoping he'd come out and play a song together but he did not.

I feel like this is the best thread to argue

Any way I can sway your opinion on 311 not being very good? Or should we wait until we hit the ‘90s years in music threads for that?

I mean, this is impossible. So many "great" songs that weren't singles, literally thousands of songs to pick from... so maybe focus it on singles,

    The Best Of Me
    My Friends Over You
    Hands Down

I thought “Hands Down” was when DC was Vagrant

Hah try selling me in the 90s. I will admit that I have a soft spot for “Amber” that I did not back when it came out and that I used to rock out a bit to “Beautiful Disaster”

I think it might be Best of Me. Or Konstantine…or All We Ever Needed

they have to be the two main options here, just the absolute peak of the genre. my favorite song though, would take a waaaaaay deeper dive and i probably could never pick just one from those many albums

    It’s “Konstantine”

But somewhere in the runner-up slots is “Sesame Smeshame”

Duly noted - if you even have those two soft spots that’s enough for me to work with. Lol will revisit.

Yeah he fucked up by not making it just singles haha. Favorite track in a label’s entire catalogue is a fool’s game

Never could stand Konstantine. I’d put I Woke Up In A Car in the running though. And we’re all kidding ourselves if Decrescendo doesn’t get mentioned

I know the answer is ~objectively~ probably “the Best of Me” or “My Friends Over You” but I don’t like NFG anymore and I like other TSL songs so much more

It’s gotta be The Best of Me. A lot of pop punk has aged poorly but that one is still a massive bop

"Best of Me", lots of Something Corporate, and I've always loved "Here (In Your Arms)", those are my contenders

Not really a contender to beat the ones mentioned, but “All My Fault” by Fenix TX makes the Best of Drive Thru comp for sure
