the only type i’ve liked the band was the episode with dan on dave grohl’s show. maybe he’s cancelled, idk, but he was likable on that. the music is abysmal

 

It's Time is a good song and I liked that Radioactive remix they did with Kendrick

Brand New’s “Leaked Demos” came into rotation yesterday. That bands window from Déjà to TDAG was awesome and I wish all their old demos and unreleased songs made their way out (leaked).

Too bad they messed up their band and a member did some bad stuff.

 

Bad stuff is sort of putting it lightly lmao

 

Sexual misconduct definitely more than some “bad stuff” imo lol

The behavioural stuff was bad. Didn’t want to just write “sexual misconduct” and then have other people say “and he did this and that too” and and be too specific. Kept it broad because everyone is aware and didn’t want to trigger anyone or anything.

my bad opinion is is that I would still be interested in hearing the scrapped demos or whatever they had from that era.

 

I wish they went the fuck away forever and all the material they didn't release never sees the light of day

 

we need to bring back band photos where one person is clearly positioned to be The Star and center of attention while everyone else is pushed to the background, eg every Blondie album cover

 

311 is a talented band that has made great music for 30 years. They just need to stop chasing the glory days.

 

The only song I know by 311 is Down, and that song is pretty good.

What's a good album to listen to by them?

I know multiple people that did too

I showed my friend the original and he still liked the 311 version better lol

 

Pitbull is one of the most underrated pop stars (not sure what to label him? Rapper? Eh) of the past decade

 

I remember when he was like just another Miami rapper, he made crunk records and stuff, it was pretty wild to see what happened to him

Anyway yeah I guess he is really is underrated in a way, people that clown him definitely often just don't understand what it is he's doing (although he definitely also made wack songs no matter how you look at it)
