sometimes one word is all you need to express your disagreement. and i don't even really like AJFA all that much compared to the first three.

Depending on the day, Pete probably agrees with you.

    Yes and yes.

Queen is the first band I ever loved, but they're definitely a greatest hits band to me.

Stones are great and I'm going to listen to them for 5 hours today to spite anyone who disagrees.

Much to the disdain of many, I can't argue with this logic.

    wanna go for a ryyyde

I dunno I'm not gonna sit here and deny alicealiceAin chains were better musicians especially layne but nirvana was the only of those grunge bands I could ever get into. Their most famous songs are overplayed but they have a lot of good underrated songs tbf. Ptobably comes from me being more of a punk yhat a metal guy. I like nirvana and l7 and then am pretty indoffetenyi to grunge besides that

So tell me something awesome Supporter

I haven't tried to get into grunge much outside of liking Nirvana a lot and my old band member being obsessed with Pearl Jam, I should probably listen to more

Wasn't Temple Of The Dog a tribute to the singer of Mother Love Bone ?

Just throwing this out there because I thought of it when I mentioned Chris Cornell: That Blind Melon album from 1992 is mind blowing.

Yes... post-Mother Love Bone, pre-Pearl Jam. But essentially PJ + 1/2 Soundgarden

Reach Down by Temple of The Dog has insane vocal work by Chris Cornell. I'm hesitant to say his best, but holy shit... the A cappella vocal part coming out of the solo is chilling.

Yes, that's what I figured. And damn it, Mother Love Bone was going to be huge as well.

The crazy thing is my dad was supposed to see Blind Melon, and unfortunately Shannon Hoon was found dead on the day of the show.

If Chole Dancer / Crown of Thorns was an indicator of things to come, they could have been bigger than all those other bands. Although, its hard to imagine a world without Pearl Jam and Eddie Vedder. (At least for me, that is!)

Very sad. These guys are so talented. They would have been huge.

To bring the conversation full circle... S/T 1992 Blind Melon record was produced by Rick Parashar, who also produced Pearl Jam's Ten, the Temple Of The Dog record, and Alice In Chains' Sap. So, he had a SOLID early 90's run producing!

Remember some of those bands in the early 2000's that the record label tried to recreate the grunge era with ?
