Oh, totally. Comic con is not my thing at all. But I run my company's booth so I've gone 10 years. My Comic con consists of going straight to my booth for my shit, leaving immediately, getting an uber or a bike out of the Gaslamp, relaxing at a brewery or restaurant far away haha

 

I love both Metallica AND Lou Reed, but I hate that album.

No, if anything, blink deserves it.
Not sure (though I’m quite confident) this site would even exist without blink

 

The 1975 deserve it far more for being innovative and interesting musicians. And for not writing California at age 45 (or at all)

 

Also, The 1975 pay tribute to blink in their latest music video where they have picture of them on their wall, sooo.. yeah

And imagine the list of other bands/artists I could name that give blink-182 credit for them being

 

Big ole shrug. You can be influenced by something. That doesnt mean its quality. just that it came around at an important time, which for a lot of that age group, it did. The problem is hoppus hasnt grown as a person or musician at all in 20 years. Also Matt Skiba fucking sucks as a human.
