I figured this place made the most sense to post this. I randomly looked into what Michael Jackson’s final record was. I was pretty sure it was invincible, but I could not believe that it came out in 2001. I have a literally never spun this record, but I put it on today on my drive home and three songs in, it’s actually really good! Idk where the public hold this record. It’s never spoken about it seems but it’s gone double platinum and did so witching only a few months of its release.

It’s not “most expensive album ever made“ good, though, a title which it actually holds

I'll accept Deafheaven would be better with clean vocals. But no vocals at all implies you haven't read any of the lyrics.

Deafheaven's vocals are easily the worst part of the band.

 

I'd say the fact that their best songs are longer than my average commute is the worst part of the band.

It took me about a year to really connect with NCTH, but its the album I find myself returning to most frequently. Maybe Sister Cities Cigarettes and Saints and I Wanted So Badly to be Brave are two of my favorite TWY songs ever.

Some bad fucking Deafheaven takes here yeesh. Taking out the vocals would be about as bad as taking out the guitar. They're an absolutely integral part of the band's sound, style, and aesthetic.

Roads to Judah is probably my favorite Deafheaven album...I'm pretty sure I've posted this opinion here before, and I'm totally ready to be lambasted for it. don't @ me.

Listening to the new Behemoth song reminds me that they are an entirely overrated, try-hard metal band. Nergal is an edgelord.

 

deafheaven’s vocals as is aren’t bad at all. they rule. his clean singing voice does not. long songs rule. nazi punks fuck you.

This font only ever makes me read things in a Bill Wurtz autotune voice. Which isn't a bad thing. Just not the intent.
