I wish more popstars would wear whatever the hell they want because I really don't care about their appearance.

I want the pants and halter/crop top sneakers combo to make a comeback. They dont have to be jeans! I think most leotards are ugly and unflattering so that's just superficial, but the heels are dangerous. I know ppl applaud popstars for dancing in them all the time but they can cause srs injuries and I'd rather keep it safe in some practical footwear!

I'm always a sucker for the popstar with track pants that rip away to reveal a ~glamorous outfit underneath. That's sometimes ruined tho when the popstar doesn't rip it off and I'm like oh just wearing a bulky ugly outfit for no reason ok. Or when the coverup outfit is too obvious and u know its gonna rip away and takes away the element of surprise!

It’s definitely SYBG or Bad Romance or Teenage Dream. If we’re going outside of chart toppers but staying within more mainstream targeted pop, Run Away With Me or Dancing On My Own

Teenage Dream is such a perfect pop song

"Firework" was way more overplayed around here and i can name at least a couple songs that copied its hook melody. it's also the soundtrack to every child's birthday slideshow. i do like "Teenage Dream" better though

  19. Kpop might be starting to internationally get the respect it deserves, but I would still call it underrated. There's an endless amount of incredible stuff, and stylistically, a good portion of it feels like a continuation of early 00's western pop music and r'n'b. The music videos, especially the choregraphies, always transport me back to that era.

Not sure how unpopular this take is, but I wanted to chime in after seeing BTS referenced!

Kpop artists work on their craft like a zillion times harder than US mainstream pop artists dont @ Me. Hope it crosses over more and causes the bar to be raised because expectations are so low and sad

Also theoretically if a band only had shit albums, one of them would still be less shit and therefore their best.
