I've only heard a couple Coheed songs but omg is that guy for real with his voice? It's grating af but I feel like if I tried it could grow on me. New Found Glory on the other hand... the first time I heard them I burst out laughing cause I could not believe that dude was actually a paid singer. We don't all have to be Whitney, but idk how ppl put up with that voice

 

Yeah it's tough to keep track of all of em. I kind of have that issue with the current crop of bands a lot of this site is going crazy for. Who're your favorite bands now? Maybe I can steer ya towards something ya missed.

I can understand not liking Dylan's voice, if you don't think he's one of the GOAT songwriters you're wrong though

 

I don't listen to Pearl Jam enough to have an opinion on them but I like the "more like hurl jam" so I agree with you.

 

i challenge anyone who is a fan of Pearl Jam to hold that opinion after they listen to Better Man voluntarily

 

I've listened to Better Man voluntarily many times and still have that opinion so challenge accepted

 

That song is fantastic.

 

Every time I listen to Pearl Jam's cover of Last Kiss I want to cry and devolve into a puddle of sadness.

 

I really don't have an issue with PJ. It's just whenever I hear Eddie I can't help but impersonate him for the rest of the day. My wife will ask me something trivial like, "Where's the peanut butter?"..then I'll find myself responding with something along the lines of, " Yyuuaaeehh I left it in the cahhhhbbnettt." Juvenile, I know.

My first show ever was hootie back in the late 90's..train opened. So good.

 

I just listened to it for the first time ever and this was my response. Such an innocuous pop song

 

This song is forever great, fight me if you don't like it.
