Chevelle is on my “need to see live before I die” list. They often get lumped in with bands like Seether or Nickelback, but they are so much better than that and it’s an unwarranted comparison. I do wish that they would venture out a little more with their sound, but I understand why they don’t really.

 

i’ve seen them five times. they used to play our community youth center. was cool

 

vena sera is probably my third from the bottom. some great songs but genuinely don’t get the hype overall.

Safer Waters and Saturdays are top tier Chevelle imo

 

Best songs are The Clincher, Straight Jacket Fashion, An Evening with El Diablo and Emotional Drought.

The first time I heard Sleep Apnea, I thought they were re releasing Another Know it All.

i lied ive definitely heard well enough alone about a million times had no idea that was this band

 

sweet. they kinda change from the "tool lite" sound after this album but i still dig it. i might throw together a playlist of my faves by them and post it in here.

 

I’ve wanted to give this album a shot for a bit since learning that it was recorded by Steve Albini, but haven’t gotten around to it yet.
