    I heard War Paint and thought it was pretty good. Everything before and after sounds like shittier versions of that album.

    Incredible band and, I think, largely underrated.

    I haven't listened to that record in a while though because it's associated with a particularly hard time in my life, but I'll have to revisit.

    I saw The Dangerous Summer open for The Early November. And the difference between them was like... a stark representation of how much better I think 2000-2004 pop punk is than 2006-2010 pop punk haha

    In 2017 though there are tons of girl fronted punk bands (Cayetana and Hopalong are two personal favorites) that are better than most earlier pop punk bands in the 2000s, and that's an awesome cultural response considering that older era of pop punk was very guy-perspective centric, had some damn misogynistic bands and lyrics. Good to see the kids have come from hating the girl to cheering for the girl in the pop punk music scene.
