I honestly have never listened to a JEW track that wasn't a single.

 

This was me until they started the roll-out for Integrity Blues last year, now they're one of my most listened to bands.

They're good. Vapid. And outside of music they are douches. But they have craft.

 

Yeah I like the two Chainsmokers songs I've ever heard and know nothing else about them except how much a lot of people I know detest them.

I've only ever heard them talked about on here. I would give them a listen right now, but I just started a new podcast episode.

 

they just seem like.... another edm/pop act. Like, I don't see how they're any different, better or worse than most of those type of acts (outside of possibly their personalities, although I figured most people in that scene are similar).

Selfie, Closer, Paris, dont let me down... they're just catchy pop songs that ill add to my "pop playlist" and its over.

I feel like a lot of the hate toward them is hyperbolic but they def aren't very good

I don't have any opinions towards the chainsmokers except Closer has so many words jammed into it that I can't sing along without dying cause apparently I have the lungs of a smoker. And also she stole her roommate's mattress so they're prob huge jerks

 

How do you steal a mattress? That shit is heavy. And getting it through doorways? That's commitment.

The Weekend was brought up a while back and I couldn't join in the talk because I had never listened to them. Shot some videos for a cover band and they covered "I Can't Feel My Face" and I think it's a good pop song. Super easy to get stuck in your head. Their cover is more rock and upbeat if anyone wants to hear it, I like it.
