I do, but admittedly I can never get into RH even though I know they are talent as hell.

PR from a music stand point has some awesome guitar and bass parts, guys are super talented but their last few albums have been eh.

Wouldn't know an Elliot Smith song if I heard one.

My last name is Smith and my wife wants to name our first child Elliot, boy or girl. Maybe I should listen to him.

Is Queen's Princes of the Universe one of the best classic rock songs out there?

 

They get brought up here every once in a blue moon so it's not that unpopular I guess, but man. Chevelle are such a good band. Such a full and rich discography

 

Man, that song is something else.

 

As I've mentioned before, The Clincher is a top 10 song for me and Hats Off to the Bull is their only album out of all their Disco that isn't near perfect.

 

I feel like if we did a bracket of best Classic Rock song, it would boil down to that Queen song, Dream On by Aerosmith, More Than a Feeling by Boston or The Chain by Fleetwood Mac.

 

Comfortable Liar, Don't Fake This, An Evening With El Diablo, Get Some, Breach Birth, Brainiac, Straight Jacket Fashion, In Debt to Earth, Roswell's Spell, This Circus, An Island, Choking Game.... so much good stuff there. How anyone can hear those songs and be like "oh yeah, that's about Three Days Grace tier" is beyond me. I can agree that Bull is their weakest by a hair.

 

I don't think it would crack the top 15 Queen songs for me, much less any bracket.

 

They are miles ahead of Three Days Grace and all those bands. Even though people like to rope them in with Butt Rock or whatever people think is clever to call it, I usually find people like them still.

You listed some greats like Chocking Game, Evening With and Straight Jacket, but you left out Don't Fake This, Sleep Apnea, Paint the Seconds and Emotional Drought.

Since they have so many great songs, I can't argue though. I hate that it's not a beloved song in their overall discography though. Is it because its a soundtrack song?
