Joanna Newsom is all around incredible

 

No amount off backlash or overplay is going to stop "Closer" from staying one of my favorite pop singles in a long ass time.

 

Closer is awful, the Chainsmoker dudes are creeps. The melody is stolen from 679 as well

Anyway, Jonna Newsom is great and this song is a masterpiece:

I don't mind Closer as a catchy song that comes on the radio sometimes but I also don't think it stands out in any way. I was happy that it didn't beat out One Sweet Day's record tho. I need that record to stay 5ever

 

Every Front Bottoms release is great

 

Each Front Bottoms release has at least 2 good songs

 

Their best album by far, probably helped by the fact that Billy Corgan and Jonah Matranga helped write some of it.

front bottoms best record starting at s/t is their last and the worst is talon

 

i like a few of their songs and always tried to truly get into them but i find them pretty obnoxious tbh

 

Talon is severely underrated on here, I listen to every song on it regularly aside from Adios

 

i actually look at talon better than i did at first: some of the songs grew on me a lot. but i really don't like a lot of the first half of the record, other than twin sized mattress. i don't think it's bad though as a whole, but songs like peach and santa monica i really dislike a lot, and i think the second half has pretty much the whole second tier of songs from that record between funny you should ask, backflip, tattooed tears.

 

I did not know that, that's pretty interesting. Sucks Taproot flew under the radar pretty much after Welcome. Our Long Road Home was pretty good too.

 

Saw the Front Bottoms live. Boring as fuck.

Hello I don't really post in this thread but I saw Joanna Newsom shade and I am fuming.

 

Same thing happened to me when I saw Glassjaw back in like 2002-2003. Daryl's Crohn's disease was flaring up apparently and the entire performance lacked any screaming...so that was weird.

He also fucked a groupie that he took into his tour bus outside of the venue, so that was funny.

 

Every Front Bottoms song I've heard has been a very unpleasant experience

 

seeing TFB live made me appreciate their albums so much more. now i've seen them like ten times, haha.

first time i saw them was five years ago a few days ago with mansions, what a good show

 

The amount of cringe lyrics TFB have is nearly unmatched

 

Their music can be so cringe worthy.
