I say this but about the grateful dead and 1965

 

Wow I am so here for this thread, here are some various takes at various temperatures.

- despite being a big young thug stan I think Barter 6 is a bad album
- i used to love ...Is A Real Boy in high school but I can't fathom anyone over the age of 19 liking that album
- saves the day self titled is their best album
- offset is the best migo although quavo has more star power
- lemonade is just an okay album

 

I can still get down with a few tracks from Is A Real Boy. I don't listen to it often at all though.

 

i mean it depends, i still don't think i've ever gotten any legitimate explanation for why blink is "good" other than "well they're catchy and they play good pop punk!!!"
i admit most bands i listened to in my youth is bad, you can enjoy bad bands, but seems like most people who got into blink early still think they're good, so, idk, hahaha.

 

Blink 182 have always sounded extremely, insurmountably corny to my ears. I understand why and their and influence and all that. But still

 

that song they did with Robert Smith was kinda cool tho

I really have a problem with bands like Lawson or Maroon 5 who use guitars as props. You see them on their videos strumming away but there's not even any guitar on their tracks!? My mate Dave even saw a interview on music TV with the guitarist of Maroon 5 and on his bed side table was a book called How to play guitar!! The man's in a million dollar band he should freaking know already! Just look at these idiots. . .

I kinda think this song is catchy even though it's real bad.

 

I think it's interesting to hear the backstory and context of a song but I hate when I dislike a song and someone tells me the context like it's supposed to make me like it suddenly. I don't think I should need all this background in order to enjoy the song. The artist should do a better job at reflecting that or gtfo
