I liked Immortal Tech back in the day, still can throw on certain songs here and there but I will say the pretentiousness of the 'Real Hip Hop' heads ruined him along with many others like that for me. Community behind the music always has some sort of weight to me and some musicians fans just make it hard for them.
Not to pick on just Immortal Technique either, another example is say... Hopsin. Him and I (only a few times but) use to speak through the internet before he got bigger, he was a nice dude (still is), I could enjoy his raps even if I do think he needs soem real friends cus of them enabling his singing & hooks but nonetheless.... I knew him to some degree... but the fans burnt me out on him.

Since we're still on rap, perhaps it's Illmatic slurping fatigue (and I'm from NY so it's even more amplified) but I always listened to I Am..., It Was Written, and Stillmatic more than Illmatic. Even more tired is the people who wanna "Teach you how great it is." I know it's great fam, I'm just probably tired of hearing about it lmao.
