I agree with this, his newest is by far the best thing he's written. I also prefer ASOB more than BTMI too.

for what its worth i do enjoy BTMI a lot especially Vacation.

Speaking of Ryan Adams, Jacksonville City Nights is his second best album.

Scrambles and Vacation are the ones that come close to Worry but Worry is definitely the best thing Jeff has done ever and I will fight ppl who disagree. We Cool? was good but a few songs stopped it from being really good.

 

i like vacation more than any other btmi album and more than we cool but less than the new one

 

Of the JR discog ive listened to, We Cool? is hands down my favorite. Just a tight, short but sweet indie/punk rock album with both heart and humor. But I've enjoyed everything so far.

 

I do like We Cool but can't stand Novelty Sweater for the obvious reason that it's just too much Weezer worship or whatever you want to call it. All Blissed out is also another one I can't get behind. The rest of the album is either good/really good /fucking excellent.

I also forgot to mention that Adults!!! by BTMI is excellent and only just a little bit behind Scrambles and Vacation.

Vacation remains his opus and I'll ride out for Adults!!!! as well. Worry is almost as good

 

i prefer jeff's more straight forward and pop leaning stuff, hence why i love the last three but not really care too much about earlier btmi

He's one of the the only artists that I follow where I keep thinking he can't top his previous release and then he does. Was hype for Scrambles, that ruled, then Adults blew me away again and then Vacation. We Cool was a step down but this new elevated him again
