It's weird..I get into a mood where I love them so much, but then I'll be like..wait, I only love about 10 songs by them.

I like Bleed American and Future enough...don't feel like the need to listen to much else. Wouldn't surprise if it's cool I'm just not super interested. Feel the same way about Thrice.

I need to listen to Clarity again tho

 

I only like the usual suspects from them. Sweetness, Bleed American, and I can't remember the others. Oh well.

Thanks to everyone who's brought this to attention. The weekend and holidays obviously get pretty quiet on our end most of the time.

Please refrain from personal attacks, random snapping, "omg/wtf/jfc" posts, antagonizing, and being overly sarcastic. Way too many of those, and they were completely unnecessary. This conversation could have been resolved without delving into that. Ask questions, answer them. No need for the kind of reactions that happened here. If you're unsure how someone feels, or don't understand why someone feels the way they do, don't be condescending. Ask why or reach out to them via PM.

Completely true! 100%. But at the same time, it doesn't promote a healthy or welcoming discussion in the thread, or a preferred resolution. People are more likely to be aggressive and non reactive if you're indirect/passive, so that doesn't usually end well, as evidenced multiple times in this thread since...the thread's beginning.

I don't think anyone was saying anyone in here was being marginalized in particular, but when POC/women/LGBT already have a harder time speaking up, and they're more likely to have a worse time at shows, it's understandable to advocate less violent/physical behavior, esp when it's not easy to avoid. And economically they're more likely to suffer so they'll have to worry about money as well as health. Politics, etc. But it makes sense in the grand scheme of things.

A dude got stabbed by someone at a NOFX show at Warped when I was like 14 or 15. My dad (who was with me) told me it probably happens a lot and I should never stage dive or anything and I'm pretty sure I never did. He was trying to scare me and it worked.
