I hate when songs fade out. I don't mean like a chord or ambient noise, I mean the entire band is playing and the vocalist is still signing and let's just fade it out instead of actually ending the song. I have to assume this was a recording flaw or something.

 

I never got this either. Live they end the song, so why not do it in the studio. It seems lazy to me.

 

All this Thrice song reminds how bad I think that band is.

I re listened to Thrices discography and now they're my favorite band!

Don't hide. Everyone knows they are the best band to come out in the last 20 years. A lot of people in here are kidding themselves

 

I can (sort of) understand not liking Thrice, but calling a band with such a diverse and dynamic sound boring is just incomprehensible.

Editor's note: They are my favorite band, so I'm certainly biased.

I would venture that among non-casual fans of these bands (at least on this site) those are both fairly popular opinions.

 

Thrice is the opposite of boring to me. Besides m/m, that's boring. But what're you gonna do, liking music is better than not liking music. It's super weird to me when people come across as proud of themselves for not liking shit. Although I'm guilty of carrying that attitude sometimes too, pretty much everyone is.

Not sure how popular/unpopular this opinion is. But I don't like Taking Back Sunday. Could never get into them at all. I know a lot of people love them and I tried multiple times but I can't.

 

I'm really bad about it in person just because I think I'm really funny but yeah I know what you mean haha

 

depends on who im talking to in person, so many times someone who i dont know TOO well will ask me if i like some band i think is terrible and i dont wanna be mean so i either say "oh yeah they're pretty good" or "ive never really listened to them but i know a lot of people who like them." if im comfortable with the person, im much more likely to be like yeah theyre garbage haha. need to find some middle ground.

 

Maybe unpopular opinion no one cares about: Final Fantasy 6 soundtrack is the best Final Fantasy soundtrack and 7 soundtrack is mediocre.
